A Lafayette businessman was killed in a plane crash yesterday morning. The private aircraft went down on the golf course at Oakbourne Country Club, shortly after takeoff from Lafayette Regional Airport. The owner of Manuel Companies, Greg Manuel, was the lone occupant and died in the crash.
