Louisiana lawmakers are off this weekend and they could finish the regular legislative session next week. The Senate will likely approve a budget that will provide an additional two-thousand spots for young children to receive state assistance to attend pre-K education classes. Louisiana Policy Institute for Children executive director Libbie Sonnier says this is great news for young children and working adults…
