Governor John Bel Edwards has issued a statewide Stay at Home order that will go into effect at 5 PM last until April 12th. Edwards says the order is needed because the state has the fastest growth rate of confirmed cases in the world. The order means that people should stay at home unless they are traveling to get food or medicine. Workers at grocery stores, pharmacies, doctors’ offices, and other critical infrastructure are allowed to go their job.
