A police practices expert agency, the Bowman Group, has helped State Police make several policy changes to make sure interactions with the public are safe and do no lead to unnecessary force. The FBI has investigated several cases of troopers’ beating black men during traffic stops. A school specifically designed to help young autistic students learn will begin taking applications next month after receiving approval from the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education.
