Green comes to L-A-B-I after serving as the President of the Louisiana Automobile Dealers Association. He says as the new leader at L-A-B-I he wants to help state government enact bold reforms that will result in economic growth and a free enterprise system…

There are four constitutional amendments on the October 14th ballot and amendment one would prohibit the state from accepting donations from outside sources to conduct elections. Proponents for the amendment say such donations could influence results, but Public Affairs Research Council President Steven Procopio says the opponents give a different argument…

With some areas of the state starting to see more regular rainfall, Ag and Forestry Commissioner Mike Strain says the outdoor burn ban could be lifted for some areas, possibly as early as this week. But Strain says most of the state remains very dry…
