Grand jury proceedings have started in Union Parish in the Ronald Greene case as Third Judicial District Attorney John Belton is seeking indictments against former LSU Troopers Dakota Demoss and Kory York who were involved in the fatal arrest of Greene in May of 2019. Former University High in Baton Rouge running back Michael Hollins is expected to undergo another surgery today after he was one of five people shot during an on-campus shooting at the University of Virginia on Sunday night. Three football players were killed and Hollins is one of two who survived the shooting. The suspected gunman is in custody.
