South Louisiana homeowners can register for a grant of up to 10-thousand dollars to help pay for a fortified roof. Sean Richardson reports registration will run from September 18th to the 20th and then three-hundred homeowners will be chosen.

The National Weather Service reports that rainfall is expected to increase across South Louisiana beginning today and excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. A flood watch is in effect through Friday.
