A Farm Bill is in conference committee without a work requirement for food stamp recipients sought by many Republicans. Senator John Kennedy has voiced his opposition to the bill, saying it does not go far enough in its SNAP reforms, and says he won’t vote for it due to its lack of those work requirements, but Congressman Ralph Abraham says he’ll vote yes, but plans to continue pushing for food stamp overhauls.
