Louisiana’s Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign is underway aiming to curb alcohol-related crashes. Louisiana Highway Safety Commission spokesman Greg Fischer says National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration funds additional patrols and officers statewide will arrest impaired drivers. Fischer warns that drinking and driving could turn Carnival celebrations into an early end in handcuffs.
