The controversial Drag Queen Story Time event at the main branch of the Lafayette Public Library will go on as planned on October sixth. The library board met last night and took no action on postponing or cancelling the event, but they heard public comment. There were more people who spoke in opposition to a group of male UL Lafayette students dressed up as women and reading to children.
