As a search was on for a man wanted for shootings in multiple parishes on Saturday, it went unnoticed for 15 hours that State Trooper Adam Gaubert was dead in his patrol car in Ascension Parish. It’s believed 31-year-old Matthew Mire gunned down Gaubert during a shooting rampage. LSP Colonel Lamar Davis hopes new technology the agency is looking to implement can prevent a similar unfortunate situation in the future…
