Shreveport Police have released the identities of the two people found in a burned out car last Thursday. They are 43-year-old Kelly Jose and 33-year-old Heather Jose. Detectives believe 34-year-old Dewayne Wille Watkins murdered the couple after they gave him a ride after meeting at a local mall. Watkins’ bond is one-million dollars.

A 34-million dollar coastal protection project is underway at the Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge in Cameron Parish.
