A flash flood watch is in effect for most of the state today. The Acadiana region is under a flash flood warning. Up in northwest Louisiana, the Red River has rised above flood stage in downtown Shreveport. But Bossier Parish Sheriff’s office spokesperson, Lt. Bill Davis, says they are not expecting a repeat of the 2015 flood. He says the main concern is low lying areas with poor drainage…

The White House has deployed to the Persian Gulf B-52 bombers from the Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana. The U-S Air Force has released photos showing the bombers arriving at a base in Qatar.
