The governor also got his first COVID vaccine shot yesterday along with Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin. The state has now administered 448-thousand first doses of the vaccine which is a higher number of confirmed coronavirus cases. But that’s not enough to prevent the cancellation of the Strawbery Festival in Ponchatoula for a second straight year. Organizers will look forward to April 2022.
