The Coast Guard has ended its search in the Gulf of Mexico for the eight crew members of the Seacore Power lift boat who are now presumed dead. The National Transportation Safety Board is launching an investigation into the tragedy that claimed 13 lives. The Louisiana Department of Corrections has placed four Angola guards on administrative leave after they were charged with malfeasance for allegedly using excessive force on an inmate and then trying to cover it up. The D-O-C says the inmate received minor injuries and two of the people charged are from Louisiana, 44-year-old Karla Williams of Baton Rouge and 58-year-old Roy Favre of Port Allen.
