A multi-agency state and federal crackdown on unauthorized vape products has resulted in ten arrests and the seizure of more than one-million dollars’ worth of illegal vape pens, pods, juices and other products. Six businesses’ permits have been suspended, three in Shreveport, two in Lafayette and one in Baton Rouge.

The NFIB says Louisiana lawmakers delivered several big wins for small businesses in the legislative session by passing several bills that will help local businesses grow. NFIB state director Leah Long says they point to the passage of four bills aimed at stopping lawsuit abuse, which should help lower insurance premiums…

The LSU baseball team will face UCLA in a winner’s bracket game tonight in the College World Series. The Tigers defeated Arkansas four to one on Saturday, but it was a tough night for LSU first baseman Jared Jones who went 0-for-5 with five strikeouts. Following yesterday’s workout, Coach Jay Johnson worked with Jones in the batting cage. Johnson says it’s about getting ready for the next game…
