The city of Thibodaux’s emergency preparedness director, Jacques Thibodaux, is leaving to be the state’s director of the Governor’s Office of Homeland and Security Emergency Preparedness in Jeff Landry’s administration. Thibodaux is a combat veteran who was the commander of the Louisiana National Guard’s 256th Infantry Brigade Combat Team.
