Governor John Bel Edwards will be in Beauregard Parish later today to get a first hand look at the response efforts as a massive wildfire has resulted in the mandatory evacuation of the town of Merryville and other areas of Beauregard Parish. The Tiger Island Fire has burned more than 13-thousand acres.
