23-year-old Shreveport Police Officer Alexander Tyler has been put on administrative leave. Two officers were called to an apartment complex on Friday night to investigate a domestic disturbance. LSP says when the officers arrived Bagley took off running.

The St. Tammany Parish coroner is urging Louisiana residents to have a bottle of Narcan on hand. Doctor Charles Preston says Narcan can help save a person’s life who overdoses on Fentanyl…

He says Narcan is a nasal spray and the manufacturer has videos on their website that explain how to recognize an overdose and how to administer the medication.

An East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s deputy, who saved a car crash victim’s life last month, is Senator Bill Cassidy’s guest at tonight’s State of the Union address. Detective Will Bankston was off duty and driving through Baton Rouge, when he came across a car crash and pulled a man from his badly damaged vehicle that was in the water. Bankston says this is his first visit to DC.
