The 2025 hurricane season ended yesterday and fortunately no hurricane made landfall in the U.S., but some major storms devastated other areas. Colorado State research scientist Phil Klotzbach says this year had fewer than average storms but made up for its lack of quantity with intensity.
It was only the second season recorded with more than two category five hurricanes.

More than two dozen fathers who had not seen their daughters in years wore tuxedos and presented their daughters with flowers, a Bible and a handwritten letter.
