The 2025 hurricane season ended yesterday and fortunately no hurricane made landfall in the U.S., but some major storms devastated other areas. Colorado State research scientist Phil Klotzbach says this year had fewer than average storms but made up for its lack of quantity with intensity.

National prison ministry, God Behind Bars, organized a Daddy Daughter Dance at the Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola. More than two dozen fathers who had not seen their daughters in years wore tuxedos and presented their daughters with flowers, a Bible and a handwritten letter. Jake Bodine, the founder of God Behind Bars, says Angola was transformed into something special.
