The former all-state quarterback from Lutcher has been practicing on offense this week, after starting his career at LSU as a defensive back.

The Pelicans lost their final preseason game last night 134-119 to Toronto and they finish the exhibition schedule without a victory. Very few teams in the NBA have don that. The regular season begins Wednesday in Houston.
