Many are still in disbelief over LSU’s 74-72 seven overtime loss to Texas A-and-M. Several calls went against the Tigers way. It seemed like they won the contest on several occasions, including when Jace Sternberger fumbled the ball away after catching a pass and LSU recovered. But it was ruled an incomplete pass and Coach Ed Orgeron said the instant replay judge never asked for a formal review…

Southern is headed to the SWAC Championship game after beating Grambling 38-28 in the Bayou Classic. The Tigers made it a three-point game in the fourth quarter, but Dawson Odums team responded with its own touchdown drive…

Nicholls is advancing to the second round of the F-C-S playoffs after beating San Diego 49-30 on Saturday. The game was played in front of nearly nine-thousand fans at John L Guidry Stadium and Coach Tim Rebowe says the team appreciated their support….

The Colonels advance to play at Eastern Washington this Saturday.

The Ragin Cajuns will play in the first ever Sun Belt Football Championship game as UL Lafayette defeated ULM 31-28 to win the west title. The Cajuns will play Appalachian State in Boone, North Carolina this Saturday. The Mountaineers beat UL Lafayette 27-17 on October 20th.
