The Saints have lost starting left guard Andrus Peat for the next six weeks because of a broken arm suffered in the loss to Atlanta. An ESPN report says the injury required surgery and Peat could return for the regular-season finale.

Grambling State quarterback Geremy Hickbottom has been suspended for the first half of Saturday’s game at Mississippi Valley STate. Hickbottom was ejected in the third quarter in last weekend’s win over Alcorn State for throwing a punch after he threw an interception. Redshirt senior quarterback Charles Wright will get the start this Saturday for Grambling, who has won five in a row.
