USC freshman transfer quarterback Husan (HOO-sahn) Longstreet of USC became the third portal quarterback addition for LSU on Wednesday. Longstreet joins Sam Leavitt of Arizona State and Landen Clark of Elon in what will be an uber-talented 2026 room. Mike Detillier of WWL radio says Lane Kiffin was able to pick up all three due to his successful track record of developing quarterbacks.

Brutal loss for the LSU men’s basketball team last night. The Tigers led by 18-points early in the second half, only to lose to Kentucky at the buzzer 75 to 74. The Wildcats stormed back by hitting eight three-pointers in the second half. LSU is now 0-4 in SEC play.

The Pelicans won last night in a matchup of two of the worst teams in the NBA as New Orleans held on for a 116 to 113 win over the Nets. Another strong game for Trey Murphy who had 34 points and nine rebounds.

It was not a pretty game, but Louisiana Tech defeated Middle Tennessee 59 to 58 in Conference USA action last night. DJ Dudley hit a three-pointer with four seconds left to give Tech the victory. It was the only three-pointer made by the Bulldogs on the night.

The Ragin Cajuns lost at Texas State 59-54.
