The Lady Tigers passed a big test on the road last night as sixth ranked LSU defeated 16th ranked Tennessee 89 to 87 on Kailyn Gilbert’s last second circus shot in the lane. The Voice of the Lady Tigers, Patrick Wright, had the call on the LSU Sports Radio Network….

It’s Gilbert’s second game winning shot this season. She had one against Washington. Gilbert finished with 22 points. Aneesah Morrow had 23 points and 21 rebounds.

Louisiana Tech got in the win column last night beating FIU 81 to 64 to improve its record Conference USA to 1-and-2. Al Green came off the bench and scored 21 points, knocking down five three-pointers.

The Ragin Cajuns and ULM both lost in Sun Belt play.
