The Saints lost in preseason action last night falling to the San Francisco 49ers 16 to 10. New Orleans first team offense did nothing on its first two drives, but then Derek Carr and company put together a 16-play drive that ended with a one-yard touchdown run by Taysom Hill on fourth and goal from the one. The Saints have scored 26 points in two preseason games this year. Rough game for rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler last night as he was four of eight for 27 yards and fumbled once.

The Black and Gold returned to New Orleans after the game and will hold a practice tomorrow night at Tulane’s Yulman Stadium that will be open to the public.

The LSU football team has been in camp for two and a half weeks. Coach Brian Kelly likes the improvement from his cornerbacks…
