In Ruston, the Conference USA tournament gets underway today.Louisiana Tech is scheduled to play Middle Tennessee in the third game of the day. Bulldogs two-way star Ethan Bates was named Conference USA Player of the year.
The Southland Tournament gets underway this morning in Hammond as Northwestern State faces McNeese. The Demons eliminated the Cowboys in last year’s tournament.
