Once again this season, LSU comes up a little short in knocking off top-ranked South Carolina as the Gamecocks defeated the defending national champs 79 to 72. The game was marred by a benches-clearing shoving match that erupted when South Carolina’s Kamilla Cardoso shoved Flau’jae Johnson to the ground after Johnson committed a foul on a Gamecocks player.
