The U-L Lafayette softball team ended Oklahoma’s NCAA record 71-game winning streak with a seven to five win in eight innings over the Sooners. LSU softball team is the only team that’s still undefeated after wins over McNeese and La Tech.

The second ranked LSU baseball team went 3-0 at the Astros College Classic after beating Texas State 10 to 5 yesterday. Thatcher Hurd was the winning pitcher. Louisiana Tech is still undefeated after rallying from a 5-nothing deficit to beat Air Force 8-5. Southeastern Louisiana upset 11th ranked East Carolina 11 to 9. The Lions will host the LSU Tigers on Wednesday.

The Sun Belt men’s basketball tournament gets underway this week in Pensacola, Florida. ULM will face Coastal Carolina tomorrow in a 12 versus 13 matchup.
