LSU running back Trey Holly and two others have been arrested for a shooting that injured two innocent bystanders in Farmerville Friday night. Holly has been suspended from the LSU football team indefinitely and an attorney for the 19-year-old says Holly emphatically denies all charges.
The Saints are reportedly planning to hold training camp at the University of California-Irvine in suburban Los Angeles. New Orleans has been holding camp and it’s Metairie training complex since 2017, but construction on the cafeteria will force the team to move the camp elsewhere.
In college basketball last night…Louisiana Tech snapped a two-game losing streak with a 63-58 win over Jacksonville State. Daniel Batcho did not play and Terri Miller started in his place and scored 17 points.
ULM defeated Southern Miss 68-59, handing the Golden Eagles their first home loss of the season. The Ragin Cajuns won their fourth straight game on the road as U-L Lafayette defeated Old Dominion 68-60.
