Defensive tackle Maason Smith has played his last game for the LSU Tigers. The former five-star recruit announced late yesterday afternoon that he’s leaving the Bayou Bengals after three seasons for the NFL. Smith entered the 2023 season as an All SEC preseason performer, but his play did not meet expectations as he finished with 28 tackles, 4.5 tackles for a loss and 2.5 sacks.
