Another one possession loss for Louisiana Tech last night as the Bulldogs could not hold onto a 13-point lead in the second quarter and lost to New Mexico State 27-24. Tech lost the turnover battle as they fumbled twice and only converted three times on third down. Second year coach Sonny Cumbie is not hanging his head…

Tech is now 3-and-6 on the season and will need to win its final three games in order to be bowl eligible. The Bulldogs next game is November fourth against undefeated Liberty.

The Pelicans tip off a new season tonight. They are at Memphis to begin a new season.

We got an injury report from LSU Coach Brian Kelly yesterday and it’s not great. Kelly said starting cornerback Zy Alexander and defensive tackle Mekhi Wingo will miss some time and it’s hard to say if they’ll be available for the Alabama game. Alexander suffered a lower body injury last Saturday while returning an interception. Wingo also has a lower body injury and did not play against Army and Kelly says the injury needs time to heal…
