The Saints took advantage of a not-so-good New England Patriots team by blanking the Pats 34-0 to snap a two-game losing streak. The Saints are 3-and-2, tied with Atlanta for second place in the NFC South. Tampa Bay had Sunday off and they lead the division with a 3-and-1 mark. New Orleans is at two and three Houston this Sunday. The Falcons kicked a game winning field on the final play to beat the Texans yesterday.

After beating Missouri 49-39 on Saturday night, LSU moved up one spot to number 22 in the latest A-P poll. It didn’t look good early on for the Bayou Bengals as they trailed 22-7, but they played better in the second half, allowing just two touchdowns. Coach Brian Kelly hopes that unit has turned a corner…
