A federal jury in New York found aspiring agent Christian Dawkins and youth basketball coach Merl Code guilty of bribing coaches They will be sentenced at a later date. Purported FBI wiretaps revealed in October and in March allegedly had Dawkins and Wade discussing possible payoffs for recruits.
Two of the six LSU basketball players who entered the NBA draft process have been invited to participate in next week’s NBA draft combine. Point guard Tremont Waters and Forward Naz Reid are among the 66 players invited to work in front of coaches and scouts from all 30 teams.
