LSU pitching coach Wes Johnson was introduced yesterday as the new head coach at Georgia. Johnson believes he’s a perfect fit for the Bulldogs. Johnson will continue to coach the Tigers in the College World Series.
The Saints had their first day of a three-day minicamp yesterday. It is mandatory for players to attend, so new starting quarterback Derek Carr got his first chance to work with running back Alvin Kamara, who was not with the team during O-T-As.…

But there’s a chance Kamara could face a suspension from the NFL this season as a result of a felony battery charge stemming from a fight at a Las Vegas casino in 2022. Kamara has plead not guilty and the trial is set for July 31st.
Receiver Rashid Shaheed is not at the minicamp. Coach Dennis Allen says Shaheed is dealing with a groin injury. In 12 games last season, Shaheed had 28 catches for 488 yards and three touchdowns.
