The Saints 2023 schedule came out last night and it looks very manageable. New Orleans will kick off the regular season at home hosting the Tennessee Titans. None of their games in November, December and January will be impacted by winter weather. The Black and Gold have three primetime games, two of them on Thursday night. Week two they are at Carolina for a Monday night game and they’ll host Jacksonville on a Thursday in Week 7 and the Week 16 matchup with the Rams in L-A is also on a Thursday.
At the high school baseball tournament in Sulphur, In Division One non-select, top seeded West Monroe got past Sam Houston four to three, while second seeded Barbe knocked off third seeded Sulphur five to one.
In Division One select, 13th seeded Rummel upset top seeded Catholic eight to two, Jesuit defeated Pineville six to four. In Division Three select, Menard and St. Charles Catholic advanced to the championship game.
The second-ranked LSU baseball team will host Mississippi State tonight to begin a three-game SEC series. The Bulldogs are going through their second consecutive down season after winning a national championship in 2021. They are 6-18 in SEC play and they were swept in their last two series. But Coach Jay Johnson is not taking them lightly…

In the Sun Belt softball tournament, the Cajuns eliminated ULM three to one, McNeese beat Southeastern six to two to advance to Saturday’s championship game.
