Raiders Quarterback Derek Carr will reportedly be in New Orleans today to visit with the Saints. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Las Vegas has given New Orleans permission to meet with the 31-year-old signal caller. The Raiders are reportedly interested in acquiring a third round pick for Carr and the Saints would have make some moves in order to get Carr’s contract to fit under the salary cap.

Brandon Ingram had 30 points and eight assists as the Pelicans won their third straight last night, 116 to 107 over the Atlanta Hawks at the Smoothie King Center. Coach Willie Green says B-I is starting to find his rhythm after missing two months with a toe injury…

The Louisiana Tech Baseball team is preseason favorites to win Conference USA for the first time in school history. In college basketball last night, Tulane topped Cincinnati 101-94 in overtime. Kevin Cross had 27 points and 14 rebounds. LSU-Alexandria upset LSU Shreveport 90-88.

In high school football. Dillon Barrett is leaving Grant to be the new head coach of the Many Tigers. Barrett took over a program that won two games in three seasons and has led Grant to two playoff appearances.
