LSU’s top playmaker on offense is out for the rest of the year. Kayshon Boutte was carted off the field in the second half of Saturday’s loss to Kentucky with an ankle injury and Coach Ed Orgeron confirmed on Monday it’s a season-ending injury. There’s a big college football game tonight as the Ragin Cajuns host Appalachian State in a game that will be televised on ESPN Two at 6:30. This is the tenth meeting between the two schools and App State has won every game in the series, except for last December’s meeting in Boone, North Carolina that was won by the Cajuns 24-21.
