LSU has announced proof of at least one COVID vaccine shot is needed to enter Tiger Stadium this season or a negative COVID test 72 hours prior to kick-off. LSU is the only school in the SEC to have this COVID-19 protocol and third among F-B-S schools. Oregon and Oregon State also have a similar policy.

The Saints have placed three players on injured reserve, defensive tackle Jalen Dalton, offensive lineman Ethan Greenidge and cornerback Brian Poole. Dalton played well in the preseason game on Monday as he had four tackles, a sack, a tackle for a loss, and a pass breakup. But there are reports he tore his triceps muscle.

Tight end Adam Trautman left Monday’s game on a cart and he’s expected to miss some time with an injured left foot. Trautman caught 15 passes as a rookie last season. Trautman’s injury leaves New Orleans thin at the tight end position. They had just two at practice yesterday, Juwan Johnson and Ethan Wolf.
