Southeastern Louisiana won the River Bell Classic for a second year in a row with a 38-26 victory over Nicholls. The Lions are 9-3 and should get into the FCS playoffs.

Quarterback Garrett Nussmeier has been ruled out for tomorrow night’s game against Western Kentucky, which means Michael Van Buren will make a second consecutive start. Even with all the coaching changes, Van Buren is glad he ended up at LSU.
