The LSU baseball team is headed to the Super Regionals. But it was not easy. The Tigers fell behind 5-1 early in the game, but they rallied back for a ten-to-six win over a gutsy Little Rock team.
LSU got some big performances. Casan Evans struck out a season-high 12 in six innings of relief. At one point, he struck out nine in a row. Ethan Frey had four hits and drove in four runs and Luis Hernandez hit two home runs.

LSU will play West Virginia in the Super Regionals in Baton Rouge.
In other Regional Action…North Carolina defeated Oklahoma 14-4 to advance to the Super Regionals. Tennessee topped Wake Forest 11 to 5 to win the Knoxville Regional and fourth-seeded Murray State held on for a 12-11 win over Ole Miss to win the Oxford Regional and the Racers are making their first-ever trip to the Supers.
The LSU-Shreveport Pilots received a heroes’ welcome yesterday as they were honored by Shreveport and Bossier City officials for their perfect season that concluded with the school’s first NAIA World Series Championship. Head Coach Brad Neffendorf says their accomplishments transcend baseball…
