All Morehouse Parish schools and offices will be closed today due to a parish wide bomb threat. Beekman Charter School said in a Facebook post that schools across Morehouse parish have received bomb threats. Law enforcement officials are investigating.

A West Baton Rouge grand jury has indicted New York Doctor Margaret Carpenter for prescribing an abortion drug that terminated a Port Allen teenager’s pregnancy.
