The House Education Committee has approved a bill called the Ka Mauri Harrison Act. He’s the fourth-grader in Jefferson Parish who was suspended for six days after moving a BB gun during a virtual class. Harrison now has a weapons violation on his permanent record. Ka Mauri’s father explained to the committee what happened and Baton Rouge Representative Rick Edmonds is flabbergasted…
