The negligent homicide charge against State Trooper Kory York has been dropped in the 2019 arrest and death of Ronald Greene.  Colleen Crain has more.

State Police is investigating a physical altercation during a traffic stop that happened yesterday between a Shreveport officer and s motorist that resulted in the motorist in a hospital in serious condition. No other details have bee released.

In St. Charles Parish, deputies fatally shot a 58-year-old man who allegedly threatened others with an airsoft gun. The family of Charles Verdin says he had a history of mental illness.

Instead of handing out three-hundred grants of up to ten-thousand dollars so homeowners in south Louisiana can pay for a fortified roof, the Louisiana Department of Insurance is handing out six-hundred grants. Insurance Commissioner Tim Temple says they would like to hand out more grants but…

The Board of Regents is striving to have 60-percent of the state’s adult workforce holding a postsecondary credential of value by 2030.
