Governor John Bel Edwards is expected to get his line item veto pen out next week which will lead to restoring the funding.

State Treasurer John Schroder is calling on the Louisiana Cash Management Review Board to develop a plan for all state agencies to accept electronic payment options like PayPal and Venmo. Schroder says the state needs to get on board with this technology.
