Pope John Paul the Second High School in Slidell is mourning the death of 16-year-old Christian Tullis who was killed in a car crash on I-12 Friday night. A 3.0 earthquake was felt early Sunday afternoon in Caddo Parish. Geophysicist Paul Caruso with the US Geological Service describes what residents experienced during Sunday’s quake.
This is the second earthquake in the area in just over a year and a half. In 2021 a 3.0 magnitude earthquake was reported on April Fools.
