A public meeting is taking Lake Charles to discuss a new I-10 bridge over the Calcasieu River. Lake Charles Representative Phillip Tarver says the plan is to build the new bridge just north of the existing one…

Tarver says the projected cost of the bridge is one-point-five billion dollars and while a billion dollars in public money is set aside to build the bridge, tolls may be needed.
