LSU football coach Lane Kiffin announced today that he will allow the Tigers new offensive coordinator Charlie Weis Jr. to return to Ole Miss to call plays for the Rebels in the team’s playoff run. Weis took a plane with Kiffin to Baton Rouge on Sunday and was signed to a three year deal worth 1.9 million dollars annually on Monday.

Entergy Louisiana has broken ground in Rayville on two new gas fired power plants that will provide electricity for Meta’s massive A-I data center the tech giant is building in Richland Parish….

That’s Entergy Louisiana’s Laura Beachman who says Meta is paying for the state-of-the-art generation facilities. But environmental advocacy and oil, gas and petrochemical groups remain concerned that the two new plants will result in higher bills for all customers.

Senate President Cameron Henry says a task force is meeting to see if Louisiana has enough power for the Meta Data center and others that are expected to built and to make sure residents are not seeing higher bills because of it…
