The number one ranked LSU baseball team is off to a 4-0 start after beating Southeastern Louisiana six to five last night. The Tigers bullpen was sharp and closer Todd Peterson picked up his second win of the season as he recorded the final four outs and struck out the final two hitters. LSU was scheduled to play at Northwestern State tonight, but that game has been pushed back to March 12th because of the weather. The Tigers next game is Friday when they begin a three-game series against Bryant.
Louisiana Tech baseball’s home opener is tonight against the Ragin Cajuns. The Bulldogs are coming off a sweep over Southeastern Louisiana. The Cajuns are beginning a five-game road trip.
