COVID is still an issue as college football teams begin preseason camp. Louisiana Tech coach Skip Holtz says after dealing with several COVID outbreaks last season, he’s hoping for a more normal season this year

LSU’s live mascot Mike the Tiger has been vaccinated and the barricades surrounding his habitat on campus will come down week. LSU Vet school spokesperson Ginger Guttner says the barricades helped Mike practice social distancing.
